Pre-Aging will work on virtually any wood species with the exception of some coniferous wood species (like pine or fir). White flecks may present themselves after the Pre-Aging has dried. So, as always, sample before use to ensure your specific wood is not exhibiting this problem. These white flecks are resin or pitch pockets that do not accept the pigmentation of the Pre-Aging. If you are experiencing this issue, consider using Precolor Easy instead, or just Oil Plus 2C in the color of your choice.
