Application process
Preparation
- If applicable, tape off the baseboards.
- Sand to NWFA guidelines. Finish with screening net 120. The color intensity depends on the sanding method used. When renovating, remove all residues from previous treatments completely (varnish, oil, wax, etc.).
- Vacuum the floor.
- Clean using Raw Wood Cleaner.
- Allow the surface to dry completely.
Application
- Shake the product thoroughly.
- Apply the Fumed with a pump sprayer.
- Use a trim pad to treat the edges and a t bar to go over the field, ensuring an even application.
- Be sure to keep a wet edge and apply enough product to ensure even coverage. Do not oversaturate the surface.
- Allow the floor to dry for approximately 36 hours.
- Neutralize the floor using a rag damp with water and allow to dry.
- Apply Oil Plus 2C. Please consult the technical data sheet of the oil for a correct application.
Clean up
- Clean your tools using water.
