Yes, WoodCream offers excellent UV protection. Note: The color Transparent #0 is unpigmented and does not offer UV protection and will allow the wood to age naturally while still providing protection and water repellency.

WoodCream is only recommended for vertical surfaces that are not exposed to hard physical wear. It is not hard enough and would not perform well on windows, doors, decking or exterior furniture.

Can I apply more than 1 coat of WoodCream for a more opaque look?

Yes, you can apply 2 coats of WoodCream for a more opaque look.

Is WoodCream recommended for doors?

DuroGrit is a better option for doors because WoodCream is simply too soft to perform well against the mechanical use and wear that a window is exposed to.

Can I use WoodCream Softener on its own?

No, WoodCream Softener is only used as an additive for WoodCream.

Does using Softener decrease the UV protection of WoodCream?

Yes, WoodCream Softener will reduce the UV protection as it dilutes the solid content without changing the viscosity.

Can I mix WoodCream and WoodCream Softener in any ratio?

On the initial application, the maximum ratio of WoodCream to WoodCream Softener is 1:1. You should never add more Softener than the 1:1 ratio.
